Yesterday i had rehearsal for a great friend's wedding. One of my old teammates from Duke. It was great to see his happiness and the coming together of two families from distant lands. Being a product of an interracial marriage i know how much fun it is to experience too sides of life. The truth is that there are very subtle differences that separate us but we have much more in common that brings us together. Just like with many different cultures and religions, we are all human and very much a like at the end of the day. Sometimes this journey gets tough and like anyone that goes through hard times day after day for months my patients runs thin. I have to remember that this is only temporary and that I need to stay strong in prayer and I will make it through to the other side. I can't thank those that have been there with me on this journey enough. It truly is a team effort and we will win!! NEVER QUIT
